Newark, Delaware's WONDERLAND and THE DEER PARK

Aerial view, January 27 1940
The Deer Park and Wonderland (then J.F. Richards Meat & Groceries) sit across the B&O railroad tracks that run horizontally mid-way through the image.  The porches are still on the Deer Park in 1940.  To the left (toward Elkton), the original B&O Railroad Station is still present.  The Deer Park was a short walk for passengers arriving in Newark looking for lodging or libations.
